2012

DURA-BUMP IS FOUNDED: A GARAGE-BORN VISION

In the unassuming confines of a garage, a remarkable idea was born in the mind of Konrad—a driving enthusiast who grew weary of the impact high tar humps had on his low-profile cars. Determined to improve upon existing traffic calming solutions, he embarked on a journey to find a better way. This marked the genesis of our innovative approach, combining entrepreneurial spirit with a touch of corporate ingenuity. From these modest beginnings, we set out to redefine the landscape of road safety, crafting solutions that prioritize both comfort and efficiency.

2013

OUR FIRST MUNICIPAL CLIENT

Our journey began with a pioneering step: The creation of our very first black bump which was crafted from durable polyurethane. While it marked a significant milestone, we soon discovered that it wasn't ideally suited for heavy traffic conditions. However, it was through the visionary mindset of Breedevalley Municipality in Woucester that we found our first client—a true testament to their innovative spirit and courage to embrace new solutions for their roads. Together, we embarked on a collaborative journey that would shape the future of traffic calming.
